Two offers. Two countries. No clear answer. Laura’s family knew she wanted to study law — but law is a particularly route-dependent degree. The country you study in shapes the career you can build. UK-qualified or Canadian-qualified are not the same path. While still at school, Orva helped the family understand the difference and recommended she attend a summer school at the University of Toronto to experience the environment firsthand. She loved the city, the campus, the culture, and where it could take her. By the time applications came, the decision had already been made. She is now in her third year — and she has never looked back.

Grades weren’t enough. They rarely are. Alex had his sights set on one of Europe’s most competitive business programmes — the University of Amsterdam, acceptance rate below 10%. His grades were strong, but Orva identified early that grades alone would not get him there. Orva identified the right academic support, she got the grade, and the offer followed. We also uncovered a scholarship pathway that significantly reduced the cost of her degree — one her family hadn’t known existed. She is now studying exactly what she was always meant to study.

His dream felt out of reach. It wasn’t. Muhammad came to Orva after a foundation year in the UK that hadn’t gone as planned. Veterinary medicine felt like a door that had closed. Orva mapped a new route — one that was genuinely achievable and built around something that mattered deeply to his family: a long-term plan to qualify as a vet and open a clinic connected to their US business interests.
